I've made several of the no-sew fleece blankets, and I'm thinking about the no-sew scarves. I'm thinking about taking a Home Depot Mickey and somehow attaching it to the scarf. There is a product (the name escapes me at the moment) that is like tape. You put it on fabric, iron over it, then peel the back off. A sticky tape-like substance is left on the fabric. Next you apply the other piece of fabric to the tape and iron it again. The two pieces of fabric are now bonded together. It holds like sewing, but there is no sewing involved. Do any of you know what I'm talking about? Do you think it would work with fabric and the Mickey swatch? Again, I'm just thinking out loud. Any of your thoughts are welcome. :scratchin

I used this ironable tape for sheer curtains. I don't think it would hold a wearable garment or something as fuzzy as fleece. Check with a fabric store (walmart even carries the tape) to see if they have a heartier product that would hold fuzzy fabric or wearable garments.

That fabric tape can be used on heavier material as well, but I don't think it will hold on fleece. A little craft glue will do the trick. :smooth:

Thanks! I used the fabric tape to put a lining on some lightweight curtains in my DD's room and it worked wonderfully. I have some fabric glue that I used for some patches and it has held up with no problems. I had forgotten about that. I knew the DIS would come through! :)
