Some Info On Booking SSR

I saw this information on a different board and it indicated it had come from a guide. I thought it might be of interest to others.

As we know, SSR members will be able to start booking in December. Others can start booking, within the 7-month guidelines, as of 2/4/04.

However, the plan is for only one building to be open as of 5/1 and then open an additional building each month for June, July and August for a total of 4 buildings. It was this guide's opinion that it will be very difficult for non-SSR members to book anything at the resort during the first year of SSR.

I thought people might want to know about the limited opening so they don't make plans counting on SSR.

I woudl think it might be kinda creepy styaing there at first. seems there woudl be very littel peopel walking aroudn if only one building is open up. I have negative feeling about staying at a resort that still has a lot of construction going on. We stayed at CS for grand opening night and it wasn't pretty looking across the lake at all the constrcution. You had to walk past it to go to the pyramid pool in both directions, too! Doesn't make for a great themed trip. We have ressies for BCV for early june, but I was planning on swithing it to BWV at the 7 month window as we have never stayed there. SSr will be open, too. I want to try that pool out and the food court, but I'm sooo hesistant. I guess not being able to get a ressie there woudl take care of that delimea!

Thanks for the post Pam. I guess we will be waiting until 2005 to visit SSR.
