Some HS Questions

So I was making my plan for our Oct. trip. We've gone in the summer for the past three trips and I was surprised to see that last year in Oct. the closing times were 7 or 730 and it said no Star Wars (though I believe it was a few days a week, including Saturday). This slightly screws with my plans as we've used fireworks times to leverage TSM, so I guess my first question is...is this closing time traditional? Were there in fact Oct. fireworks last year?

Second question...so I'm thinking this is a long shot because they didn't used to let you in and out at Flights of Wonder but they do now. So...it is possible to leave Beauty and the Beast and come back in (trying to find a way to slot ToT in for the hubs and I)? Like I said, I'm pretty sure you can't but I thought I would check. TIA!

1. It is MUCH too early for complete and accurate hours and events.
2. You can, but it would be a poor idea.

Hey Robo, thank you! I know it's early but I was wondering if there was some consistency from one year to the next.

Why do you think it would be a bad idea? I know only one of us might be able to ride something, but thought it might be an option.

Maybe I don't understand what you are trying to do...

During the 30 minute stage performance of Beauty and the Beast, you want a person (or persons) seated in the theater, to exit the theater and try to ride ToT, then return to the B&B show for the last few minutes?
Is that the plan?

Well, that's the question. I totally understand why they wouldn't allow it but was curious if it was allowed. RnR also a possibility because ToT can be kind of long, using FP of course.

As PP mentioned it's not gonna be worth it to try and leave and come back into the show. Those two rides especially with their preshows will take up all that time.

As for ours nothings set in stone but I wouldn't be surprised if it closes kinda early. Not a ton going on in the studios with all the construction (besides Star Wars of course)

There are very few things closed at DHS, and the construction is virtually invisible to guests.

The only major attractions that were closed was Lights Motors Action and the Backlot Tour.

I loved both and hated seeing them gone..but the HS is under major construction so most of the park is closed is blown out of proportion

I doubt that you would be prohibited from leaving and returning (guests exit for restroom reasons, then return.)

But, the reason I said that it would be a poor idea is as others have mentioned.
You'd simply miss the show.
If you cut out 20-25 minutes of a 30 minute show... why bother going to that show?

(In re-reading your questions... Are you wanting to leave your children at B&B while you and your husband ride attractions?)

Sorry, hectic day here. I don't have a need to see the show, we've seen it before and though I'm okay with it...I just don't love it and my husband isn't a fan either. I was viewing it as a situation where I would go ride something and my husband wouldn't have to wait for me to be done and vice versa. We did that last year with Everest, Splash, and Kali, and even with FP it doubles the time on those rides - plus my lo's just sat around (which is fine, but with all we are paying at Disney sitting around isn't how I want to spend my $$). We have a short trip this time and not much time at HS so I was just looking to see if this might be a way to get one parent to a ride w/o having the kids sit around.

Depending on your FP+ times, you might be able to get two rides in. Let one parent take the kids into BATB while the other parent heads to their FP attraction. That parent then goes into BATB and other parent goes to their ride. Of course, you'll have to coordinate where you plan to sit, so you can find each other and where to meet up afterwards, since second parent probably won't return to the show.
