Hi! We will be traveling to Disney in Sept and enjoying the free ddp. This will be our first time eating in many of the ts locations, since we always ate qs meals on the go. We are traveling with our 2 dd's, aged 2 1/2 and 7 months.
We do not have park hoppers and are trying to eat at the same resort we are visiting for the day, with as little transportation as possible, to accomade the little ones and keep them happy. He is what we have so far...

Arriving late afternoon Saturday - staying at hotel, will use a QS meal for dinner at resort
Sunday - MGM, hollywood & vine character lunch & QS meal for dinner
Mon – MK – Liberty Tree Tavern Character Dinner & QS meal for lunch
Tue – AK – **Cancelled Mickeys BBQ after reading several bad reviews... trying to fill in a meal for this day... or wandering if we should just have qs meal at hotel in the evening, as we want to use the end of the day as a rest time & go swimming...
Wed – MK – The Plaza restaurant and QS meal for lunch
Thu – EPCOT – Royal Princess Breakfast Banquet Hall – 9:00 am
Dinner table reservation at Teppanyaki 5:00
Fri 9/28 – MGM - Need something for this day also. Probably spending just the first half of the day at MGM, waiting to see what Playhouse disney concert is going on there that day... Will go to DTD that evening, maybe planet hollywood for dinner?

Sorry if this seems confusing... but I am trying to figure out how to use up 2 TS credits since I cancelled Mickeys BBQ. Any good suggestions for Breakfast at MK or maybe a lunch at MGM on that last friday?

TIA, I really appreciate any help!

We love the 50's Prime Time Cafe at MGM. It's a fun atmosphere and good homestyle meals. Have fun!

I really like the Crystal Palace at the MK. I would pick that over the Plaza any day. As for your AK day ... what about going over to AKL for an early dinner at Boma? My 7-year old picky eater loves the food there! As for MGM, I would suggest Mama Melrose's for dinner over 50's Primetime or SciFi.

I would lunch at the Brown Derby. MK breakfast? Not sure. I am always hitting and running at the pastry shop on Main Street!

Boma at AKL is only a 5 minute bus ride from AK and is a very good buffet.

A boat ride from MGM to Boardwalk might be fun for your kids. It's easy and you can eat at Spoodles. There are entertainers doing magic, juggling etc. outside Spoodles and sometimes they come in table side.

Tony's Town Square is good at MK and if you can get an outside table during the parade its even better as it passes right in front of you.

Overall looks pretty good. Sounds like you have little ones. Don't go to Planet Hollywood, just average food with below average service IMO. Kids might get a kick out of Sci-Fi, ok food or better yet go to 50's Prime Time, kids love seeing their parents get yelled at by "MOM".

I haven't done Mickeys BYBBQ but maybe sub Hoop De Doo Revue. It's a hoot. Food isn't much different than the BBQ as far as I understand, it still was fun.
