We are going for just 1 day on June 20, not staying onsite. We've been to US/IOA before but this is our first visit since WWoHP opened. I need some advice:

1)When IOA opens, what's the best way to get to WWoHP - right side via Suess Landing (shorter) or left side via Marvel (longer but will there be less "competition")?

2) Our 1st goal is Forbidden Journey. (Not interested in Duelling Dragons). After FJ, should we try to get butterbeer and go to the giftshop, or should we head on to our next ride (Spiderman) and come back in the afternoon?
(Will it be very crowded in the afternoon?)

Any other advice?

Thanks!!!

1. I would go the Seuss Landing route. Cut through to the left of Green Eggs and Ham.

2. If you are going to have butterbeer, don't wait at the carts but go inside the Hogshead for it.

It probably won't be that terribly busy yet on June 20, so you will probably be able to play things by ear as to what to do next.

i second what damo suggested.

always go thru Seuss Landing.
so much quicker.

if the lines are longer than you wish, use the single rider lines.
this will cut the wait down tremendously.

i stay onsite and use the SLR as i go solo.
i can get on FJ and Spiderman sometimes quicker than using the express lines.
(that is if the slr is not backed way up..)

if you don't feel you want the kids to be separated from you for the time they get off the ride, have one adult go first in the SLR, followed by the 2 kids and then the other adult be behind the kids.

that way one adult will be off first and waiting for the kids.

If you are planning on doing Ollivander's I would go there pretty soon after FJ. The lines have definitely slimmed down, but there has been 2-3 hour wait times later in the day the two times I've been there during the summer. And Seuss Landing is definitely the best way to go.

That's all good advice, but I have to say my last two visits there it was packed by 10am. We went last week on Thursday and the week before that on a Tuesday.

Not to be a Debbie downer just to give a heads up.:thumbsup2
