Just returned on Wed and wanted to share two ideas that made our visit extra special.

1. I ordered a basket of snacks and supplies (including an autograph book and pen so we wouldn't waste time getting one in the park or resort) from
Peggy's Sweets and More (on-line). It was waiting for us when we checked in and it was beautiful (Thanks, Peggy!)

2. I had shipped a box of surprises to our resort a few days before we arrived--things I bought at Disney Store and Wal-Mart--hats, socks, sword, towels, stuffed animals, pen, etc. Each day before we left for the park I would secretly place it on the table so when we returned there was always a little gift from Mickey! Towels the night before water park, hat the day before our first full day in the park, photo album on the last day for all our wonderful pictures, etc. My DS5 is still wondering how Mickey got into our room!

Hope these make someone else's trip extra special!

Hi,
Could you please give me the site address Peggy's Sweets and More
We're going in July and this would be great.
Thank you in advance.

we do the same thing but say its from tinkerbell.. my little girl can't wait to see if she visits again this trip! :cool1:

That is a great idea to have special presents from "Mickey"!! I'll be using that the next time we go.......hopefully sooner than later!! :cheer2:

We leave in 7 days to go to Disney. A few weeks ago I went to the Disney store and bought some things for my DD(2). I bought a small plush Mickey, small plush Minnie, Lilo and Stitch shirt and flip flops, Bear and the Big Blue House figures, candy, some Disney Princess fruit snacks, a Mickey coloring book, JoJo's Circus figures......and a few other things. I wrapped a few of them up in Disney Princess wrapping paper and will have them sitting on the bed of the hotel when we check in. I'll find some way to get to the room before my family to leave them there on the bed. I'm including a note that they are from Mickey!

Then I bought a few other things that I am wrapping in Nemo paper to give to her throughout the trip.

I also have Mickey calling our house on the morning that we leave to go to Disney.

sounds neat.. just don't wrap if you are flying.. because the airport security if checked.. might open your gifts.. I know this happens a lot at Christmas time.
