Some FP fine tuning questions . . .

I think I have a general understanding of how FP work, but want to make sure.

So here's the scenario. We will have a party of 9 for a week in August - 3 kids ages 6, 8 and 9, and 6 adults. My inlaws (2 of the adults) won't be going all 5 days (but have 5 day parkhopper tickets) and won't be there all day for the days they do go. Also, the 6yo won't go on many of the faster rides.

So, we all show up in DL on day one - we have 9 tickets. We take the kids over to Peter Pan, and one of us dashes off to one of the FP rides and gets 9 fast passes for a ride. At the return time for the ride, we show up, but only 4 of us want to ride - can we go through the fastpass line twice in a row, using the 8 fastpass tickets?

Can we collect 2 FP for say, Space Mountain, 2 FP for BTMRR, and 2 FP for Splash Mountain, go put the kids to bed (staying with the inlaws), and then the 2 of us head over later and use all the fastpasses?

If there is a day my inlaws don't go to the park, can we still use their ticket to collect a FP?

I have never gone during the summer, and am a bit worried about crowds, so I'm wanting to know how to use this as best as I can. Thanks!

You sound like you are on the right track - each ticket can hold a fastpass for 1 ride at a time. If you choose to get all 9 at Indiana Jones then you need to wait for those times to elapse before you can get another one. You can choose which ride each ticket holds a pass with.

Most important fact - the Fastpass times are the minimum return time. Eg if your return time is 10:15-10:45 you cannot use it before 10:15am. BUT you can return ANY time after 10:15 - all day! You can use that at 8pm if you want! You can bank your fastpasses up all day, this saves having to run all over the park to be there for particular times. The machine will spit out the pass with the time printed on the bottom that your next fastpass will be available at.

Hope that helps!

Yes.

Yes.

No. Tickets won't work in the fastpass machines unless activated for entry for that day.
