...who signed up for the September Exercise Challenge, but haven't logged any minutes yet...

Consider this a friendly push from someone who needs a push now and then to work out. I'm sure you had good intentions when you initially signed up for the challenge. We are all rooting for you!!:cheer2: I always check every day, to see my own minutes as well as how other people are doing. I think there are 12 or 13 or so with no minutes recorded. Maybe you are exercising and adding them up for a weekly number. Maybe you're too busy with the craziness of life. Maybe you're still hunkered down in Florida. :duck:

But some of you may not have a great excuse and I'm here to give you a big dose of motivation and encouragement.:grouphug: from a fellow WISH'er. Give it a shot! Only 5 days have passed, there are still 25 days left to exercise and work toward your goal. Don't give up at this point. Any progress toward your healthy life is so important!::yes:: ::yes::

Hope this doesn't come off as preachy...believe me, I am the LAST person to tell others what to do! I'm just trying to help out as this group is always helpful to me. Have a wonderful day everyone!!!:sunny: :sunny: :sunny:

What a wonderful post! I don't think you sound preachy at all, just very encouraging! I hope that those who really need that extra push of motivation read this and take it to heart! I know on last months challenge I was really sick for most of it but I plugged along and kept up with it as much as I could and even though I didn't even reach half of my goal I still felt like I accomplished something because I gave it all I had. So if there is anyone out there facing difficult circumstances, just give it all you've got, you're going to feel great when it's over and you know you did all that you could even if you didn't reach your full goal. :)

That's just the thing. Last month I was away for the first two weeks, so I didn't start the challenge until halfway through the month. Then I got busy planning my next WDW trip and spending too much free time on the computer and before you know it it's bedtime, cause I gotta work tomorrow...well, needless to say, with that attitude, I didn't accomplish much last month. If someone had perhaps PM'ed me to give me a push, I may have renewed my motivation....therefore, my previous post was written hopefully to give a gentle nudge to all of us.

Great Thread! I for one am a WISHer who used Labor Day weekend as an excuse to eat more than I should have (I planned to give myself a little diet break but I still went way overboard) and managed to exercise only 20 minutes for the whole weekend. :( Not good! I'm committing myself this week to getting back on track with both the food and exercise and working on getting those pounds gone for the Thanksgiving challenge and also working toward that 1000 minutes!
