Here is a review of SOME of the places I ate at during my recent trip.

Boma - I ate here for both Breakfast and Dinner. Very good - no - REALLY GOOD! I highly recommend this place. The food was good and I honestly think it is one of the best breakfast buffets available. I loved the Chocolate Chip Muffins and their special Juice!

Chefs de Paris - Really good food. Nice Decor. As we ate they opened the windows and we watched Illuminations. Duck was very good. Service was also top notch. Thumbs up!

Park Fare - I had a bad expereince with this place. No Characters - this was because of Hurricane Charley - which I did understand. I just feel that it is very cramped and while the food was good - feel there is better breakfast buffets.

Donalds Breakfastasaurous - This was really fun. Food was good also. If you have little ones - this is a must do!

Tony's - My first time here - we did lunch. The food was good. Not great but good. I loved the inside. So not what I expected. I would eat there again but for Dinner!

Hollywood and Vine - Not a big fan here. I did not like the food. They did have a large selection but I thought it would be better. I would not go back here.

Ohana Grill - Loved it. The food was good for Meat lovers and they even accomodated DGF - who is a veggie! Very nice atmosphere and we ate while watching Wishes - which they piped in the music for during the show! Great experience!

I had a question about Donalds as it receives so many mixed reviews. What time was your PS? How was the food? Was there a lot of good quality character interaction?

Thanks in advance!

My PS was before the park opened. There is a special line for those who have a PS prior to opening.

Good Character interaction. Pictures with Donald, Mickey, Goofy etc. It is one of the few places to get a good photo with Donald.

The food was good and there was a large selection. I really enjoyed it and would do it again!

Very good Chocolate Chip Pancakes!

Thanks for the reviews.

At Chefs de France, did you both have duck or was there another dish tried and liked? (We're unlikely to try duck, lol.)

Can you describe the inside of Tony's? What was different than you imagined? I've never been so I'm now curious if this is something we should add to our list - our ever-expanding list! I'm going to have to start eliminating rather than adding soon. Yikes!

My DGF is a Veggie so I forget (or could not make out) what she ordered. I ordered the duck.

I can not explain my reaction to Tony's - the only thing I can say is to check it out before you eat there. Just walk in and look around real quick. To me - I did not expect the inside to look like it did - I expected something different. Never judge a book by its cover. LOL!

Do you remember what they offered your DGF at 'Ohana instead of the meats? Thanks.

mariamouse :D

The gave her a special platter with veggies on a skewer. Not to mention - the all you can eat side dishes included Shrimp and stuff. They were very good to her!

I would agree with your review of H & V. We ate there for the first time this trip (me, DH, DS-16, and DD-14)and I was the only one who found some interesting dishes to like.
DS and DD absolutely didn't like it; DH was so-so. I love to experiment with new dishes so I loved it, but alas, it won't make our next trip by a vote of 3-1!:earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I loved the chocolate chip muffins, frunch and quinoa at Bomas.

Now, I'm hungry.
