This is ballet. I didn't have the heart to ask her to change into jazz. It was almost 100 degrees that day and there was no air in the auditorium for dress rehearsal. Eeeep!

wow that is hot! a studio Megan danced at in CA had no places for the kids to change, we had to bring and set up our own popups outside...lucky for us one of the dads always went early and got a spot in the shade for our group! one year is was 110 a few of the girls passed out and I got heat exhaustion! not fun, we left the studio after that!

That's crazy! They layer their tights and wear body suits so they don't have to worry about changing, but it was sooooooo hot in there, between the temperature and the lights!

yes it was....we do the layering too if needed, Megan didn't need a body suit this year, all of her dances but ballet she kept her leotard on...thankfully where the recital is has dressing rooms!

This is her jazz costume. They danced to Secret Agent Man. You can't tell but she has a pair of shorty shorts on under the micro-mini. Got lots of applause and catcalls after this song...
