And I'm pretty freaked out.

I was standing downtown waiting for my mom to pick me up after my therapist's appointment, and this guy came up to me, our conversation went as follows

"Is there a good publisher around here?"
"Umm, there's a bookstore around the corner..."
"How old are you, like 12?"
"Sixteen..."
"Is that your mom over there?"
"No, but my mom's on her way."
"Oh. I'm not trying to hit on you or anything. I don't hit on 16 year olds. You're awful cute, and nice to look at from a distance, but I dont know you're story"
"Ok..."(Now I was getting really freaked out)
"You're pretty big for a 16 year old. Must be all those bovine secretions these days."

At this point I was really freaked out and pretty sure he was referring to my chest. I was outta there, he made some comment as I went back up to my therapists, she waited with me until my mom came. My dad and I drove around town until I saw him and we found a cop, but the cop said unfortunately there was nothing really they could charge him with. But he was smoking a pipe, and I'm pretty sure it wasn't tobacco. I hope they nail him for something .

It was just really freaky :sad2:

You poor thing!

These creeps catch you off-guard. The average person's reaction is to converse with another person when they start talking to you. So, after it's all over, you could kick yourself for even engaging in a conversation with them to begin with.
You were smart to leave the area and wait for your mom with someone else.

egads. Glad you got out of there. Its instinct to reply when someone talks to you, even one of these creeps.

Yeah it's a shame you can't talk to strangers without worrying about their intentions. He sounds pretty creepy, smart of you to go back in the office away from him.

:grouphug:

Maybe from now on you should wait with your therapist until your mom get there.

:grouphug: I am glad you are o.k. and good thinking to get away from him and somewhere safe :thumbsup2

I'm sorry you had this experience, and you were *very smart* to get out of there--always trust you instincts! Good girl!
