Does anyone know the difference between the "Deluxe Stateroom with Verandah" and a "Deluxe Stateroom with a Navigators Verandah"?

The navigators verandah are metal instead of rails (with plexiglass) so you can not see through them. They are also to the back of the ship (or aft). No midship. Also, less money than a Cat. 6. The rooms are the same size sq. footage wise though.

Hi!

The Navigator's Verandah is more enclosed than a regular verandah. We had one on our cruise last summer. It has a very large porthole opening to look out to sea through -- no glass. More like a porch feeling. The other verandah's have a clear plexiglass wall and are totally open across the top, much like a balcony is at one of the resort hotels.

We enjoyed having it. There was a club chair and a table out there. Also, one side had a built in bench seat.

Wish we were going again this summer! :lovestruc

Thank you everyone.

My DW likes more of an open porch (like at the BWI) so i think we will skip out on the Nav Ver.

Thanks for the info and the super quick responses!

You will love the full verandah. Great to have morning coffee out there.
