Some advice re. halloween

Hi,
It is our first trip to WDW from Australia. We have booked the trip and arrive on Sun 3oth nov. We have just realised that the 31st is halloween. Is that correct? If so, will it be really packed? We decided to go in the first wk of Nov as we had heard it was fairly quiet, now I am really worried and wondering if it will be just too busy. What are the halloween crowds like? Does this meen the parks will be open later on the monday? Any advise would be much appreciated. Thanks!

My sister just told me she thinks we would need a special pass to join in the halloween celebrations???? Is this right, where do we get one and how much is it???

Will you be arriving on the 30th of November? Halloween is Oct 31st and that is a month difference. If you are arriving on the 30th of October, then yes, it will be crowded, but just until after Halloween. The begining of November will not be as crowded....and weather is usaually very nice then

HI ... You will need to buy a separate ticket to join the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party....and they have this party on certain nights where they will close MK early and only people who have bought tickets can enter....Halloween night usually sales out so the sooner you get your ticket the better.....but it is very crowded on Halloween Night...

We went last year on Oct.29 and the crowds were not so bad that night...

Opps..yes we are going Oct 31st not nov 31st!! Silly me So the day after Halloween, will it be quiet in MK?

In 2003 we were at the parks 10/30-11/7. We found the daytime crowds to be quite nice actually. Most things were 15 min wait of less. The Halloween MNSSHP was quite crowded, but that was the only place that was. The weather was perfect to boot.

Mickey's Not So Scarry Halloween Party is held on several nights in October, including Halloween night on October 31. I believe the party officially goes from 7:00 to 12:00 and includes a special parade, special fireworks, trick or treat stations throughout the park and various other special Halloween themed events. All the characters appear in Halloween costumes.

You do need to purchase a separate ticket. Adults were $31.95 and children $25.95 in 2004. Tickets for the October 31 party sold out in August last year so you should order early if you want to attend on the 31st. You would need to expect the park to be very crowded on October 31 for the party. The park will probably be pretty crowded in the afternoon as people arrive in anticipation of the party.
