hi all:wave:

i know beaches and cream can get very busy ::yes:: so having this in mind i was thinking of skipping breakfast and letting the kids have an early swim and leave the resort and get there for opening and have an early lunch (the kids really want to eat in a booth not a table)so to my ?? what time would it be best to leave all star movies?what would be the best way to get there? and how long would it take?

thanks eve::MinnieMo

Im not sure of what time it opens, but I would take a bus to MGM then take the boat from there to the Beach Club. I usually allow 1 hour when going from resort to resort.

We did the same thing last trip except we stayed at AKL. What we did was take the bus to MGM, then take the boat to the Beach Club. If I remember it took about 25-30 mins. and that includes wait time for the bus and boat. We were the first ones there! Enjoy:D

thank you for the quick responce:D

i thought i read somewhere that it opened at 11 am but i'm sure someone will come along and let me know for sure::yes::

thanks eve::MinnieMo

Beaches and Cream is open from 11:00 A.M. - 11:00 P.M. Be sure to have burgers and a vanilla coke for me. If you're still not full, try a "No Way Jose." Enjoy!

We love it so much that we went twice last trip. We started the morning at MGM and took the boat over for lunch. It was wonderful. Whatever you do, save room for dessert. It is one place at Disney that I feel I am getting what I pay for and prices are really reasonable for the amount of food you get. You won't be able to finish your ice cream. We took pictures of each other before we ate our desserts and laugh every time we look back through the pictures......"I can't believe I ate the whole thing..." Then we'd take a boat over to Epcot for the afternoon. Going from one of the parks to B&C made it much easier than trying to figure out how to get there from ASMo.

Yeah, we got a No Way Jose to share and couldn't finish it at all- it was soooo good though!

To avoid the lunch crowd, we toured Epcot and had a snack at World Showcase in the morning and had a later lunch at Beaches n Cream at around 2pm. We were seated immediately. -Stephanie

Save plenty of room for desert and order a Kitchen Sink! 8 scoops of ice cream, every topping they offer, and a whole, yes a whole can of wipped cream.

In fact forget the food and just have the kitchen sink. It's vacation after all....:laughing: :laughing: :laughing:

thank you for your replies::yes::

snowglobe girl,
that is a good idea to go while we are at epcot i didn't think of that:D

stephanie,
i'll try and make our way over there for about 2 pm

goofy joofy,
the kitchen sink sounds great and i'm sure dh and ds12 would love it,but me and my youngest son are a bit pickey and would prefer to have our own 'picked' dessert

thanks again eve::MinnieMo
