Solution to DCing in staff events

well i know that numerous posts have been made regarding the fact that people are fed up with staff game dcs.. well i've decided to share my secret with the world on how not to dc! its simple.. if you want to get into a staff game, log off of VMK and then log back on and try to enter the room.. it always works for me and i hope it works for you

nope it dont work I was 26 in crows nest right when it opened and i had a fresh log in then boom dc

hmm.. usually works for me.. could be my computer though too, its fairly new

That used to work for me, if I didn't get in line within 5 minutes of logging on, I'd log off and log back on, and then I'd be able to finish Host games (not necessarily win, but at least play). But I don't know if my connection has somehow gotten worse or the servers have gotten worse, or what, because now I usually get up to the part where you get ready to play and then dc. Sometimes I actually play and get dc. But I never see the exit room anymore at all.
Even if I get in line my first try, seconds after logging on. It's been this way for at least a week.

I do that. But I still get dc! I got this computer about 4 weeks ago. I actually get to play about a third of the time. Baseball season was so good to me

I'm not certain if the re-connecting thing works, but I have been doing it. I play a lot of fireworks, and I started noticing that any time I played more that two games in a row, I would end up being disconnected during the third game. So I started closing and logging on again after every two games. It could be coincidence, but it does seem like I get cut off less if I do this. So it kind of makes me wonder if the length of time you are on has anything to do with the d/c's?
