So I am going to be going solo to WDW Dec 9-16. When I originally booked, someone was going to come with me but they bailed out due to lack of funds. Shoot me a message or reply here and we can work the details out.

Although I won't be there at that time (otherwise I might join you at one meal), I just wanted to say that I think it's a terrific idea. Whenever I go solo, I make all my ADRs for two people. Who knows if I might meet someone whom I'd like to invite to have a meal with me, maybe even on the bus ride to the park that day. Almost always, however, I end up showing up for my ADR by myself, and it's never been a problem or a cancellation charge.

Wow, looking at your dining plans, I really wish I were going to be there around those times. You've picked some great restaurants! Tusker, Biergarten, & BOG twice in one day? Nice job, my friend.

The nice thing about Biergarten solo is that they seat you with other groups, so if you are feeling social, that's a great place for a solo ADR.

Just hope that you don't have the experience I did with communal dining. I got seated next to a teenaged girl who acted like getting seated next to me was her worst nightmare. I tried to ask her a few questions about her trip but was met with monosyllabic grunts (and since I was a high school teacher, I was well-aware of those grunts). At the end of the meal, I don't know which one of us was more relieved to get out of there. Now I'd rather sit alone than wish I was!
