Solo trip...tomorrow!

Taking an incredibly last minute solo trip to the parks tomorrow. I have an AP now so I can go at a leisurely pace and hop from park to park.

I wanted to see if anyone felt inspired to help me formulate a last minute plan.

I'm hoping to spend time in Magic Kingdom, Epcot, and check out the race expo at ESPN. I have no preference to order whatsoever.

The only new (to me) thing I was wanting to try tomorrow was to check out the Frozen ride. I know it'll be a loooooong line and eat up a chunk of the day. I'm ok with that. I guess I just wanted to see if anyone had suggestions about the order of which parks I should do + the expo. Also, does all of Epcot open at 9 am tomorrow like the app says? Sometimes I've seen it where the one side of the park opens a couple of hours before the other.

Would it make the most sense to head into Epcot first, get in line for Frozen at the park opening, then make my way over to ESPN, and close out at MK? This is assuming the expo is open to non-participants as well.

I'll have my car but would prefer to park it once and not pick it up again until the evening when I head to my Airbnb. I really don't mind riding the buses and boats.

Thanks for your help!

Cant help much but if you ropedrop FEA your wait will be about maybe half an hour. If you don't ropedrop, it may be an hour maybe 1-1/2 hrs. So still not too bad IMO.

I agree with ErinsMommy. We hit it at rope drop 2 weeks ago and waited in line for about a half hour. A half hour in that queue goes quickly due to all the theming.

I would rope drop FEA too - do the EPCOT things you want until mid afternoon - then go to MK for the rest of the day.
Fireworks over the castle is so much better IMHO than over the lake at Epcot...

Wow, have fun! It sounds like you have a busy day ahead. I have a solo trip coming up in about a month myself...

I agree with the other posters that you should probably hit Epcot and FEA first. You are correct that World Showcase opens at 11, while the front of the park (Future World) opens at 9. Even though FEA is in World Showcase, that opens at 9 also. If you're not there for opening, you could be in for a long wait.

Since FEA is the main thing you want to accomplish at Epcot and I'm almost positive there won't be any FP+'s available at this late date, I would think you'd want to set up your FP+'s for Magic Kingdom, perhaps for late afternoon/early evening and go to your ESPN event when you're done with Epcot.

I also think its good you have a car, and frankly, I'd be inclined to drive it to your various spots, if you do the Epcot/ESPN/MK sequence. If you to Epcot/MK back to back in some form, you can save one drive. But keep in mind that getting to ESPN (I assume you mean Wide World of Sports and not ESPN Club) isn't all that easy by bus. I know sometimes they change things up when there's special events, but many times you have to take a bus to one of the All-Stars (Sports?), then get a WWoS bus from there and reverse it on the way back. Seems easier to me to drive it yourself.

Have fun!
