Tks for letting me know about your TR from your PTR, Ive got so many TRs subd right now that dont look at the main TR thread anymore for fear of adding more of them
I know what you mean about being tired after flying from the northwest
its quite a trek isnt it? At least you came in at a good time to just crash and recharge, despite the greasy/tie-dyed food court debacle
I didnt understand pin trading either until my daughter started getting into it. There are just some pretty cool pins out there
and theyre shiny, which kicks in some primal instinct in many people

Good concept with going to the left, it is amazing how many people go to the hub and head straight to Tomorrowland. Nice that you got to do walk on with your rides and I totally agree about PhilharMagic, it is one of my favs
Darned ungrateful child, it does reinforce your the world revolves around me concept about kids. But I have to interject that it all has to do with upbringing and instilling courtesy and not catering to them early on. Makes all the difference.
Yeah, people are very careless with share settings when it comes to open networks, in most cases they dont even realize that they are doing it. Girl Scout planners beware!
The keys tour sounds fascinating, I love to hear the nuts n bolts of how things work. And I can only imagine how it would be for a famous person to try and get through the park. Apparently The Rock was at MK the same day we were when we went in January. I didnt see him but another DISer did. 5 1/2hrs aye? Thats quite a long tour!
The fridge swap sounds like an interesting concept, but you seeing the family of five in one of those economy rooms really makes me happy we stayed off-site in a big suite with a full kitchen
DHS is a great park, we did two days there. I agree on all points that you covered, especially how bad they did Sigourney Weaver I have a pic of her on my TR. As I said in it, she looks scarier than the alien lol. Bummer about the guides not speaking clearly, but yes, I did get the cowboy instead of the gangster when we went on it.
Sounds like a good lunch at Sci-Fi and yes, kids do know the Power Rangers. Theyve actually morphed (yes I mean that literally) through several germinations throughout the years. I think the current breed is Power Rangers Mystic Force or something. My girls watch it sometimes and although it is still staggeringly bad, they have improved the dialogue from the original. Good God, Ive said too much! I clearly know far to much about such a campy show.
Nice end to the day with the Adventurers Club well have to check that out next time
Use the garden grocer, check! Your Epcot day sounded very full of attractions. Sorry to hear some of them didnt stand the test of time from your last visit. I never made it to World Showcase when we were there, but it seems to be good for shopping, food, and character greetings and thats about it.
Day 2 at Epcot and you went right for the stomach-churners! I actually did Mission: Space twice within 15 minutes and that second time I did start to feel a little green around the gills. Good tip about TT (I'm 6'2"), now I dont feel so bad about sending my DDs, DW and sister off to ride it while I stayed back with my mom & MiL

Oh yes, and Sinise does look a bit alien now
more so than he used to anyways.
DTD sounded like it wasnt too hectic, but you should have eaten at Fultons its fantastic!
Back to MK again, but the PPP would make it worth it. Between what youve said and what another DISer said about it, I really have to plan our next trip around doing that. Too bad about them not running the Jungle Cruise during it and yes, I like the temple part they added better than the shorter version at DL. Oh, and I hear ya with the rain whats an umbrella?
The Imagineers just plain did AK right. They made a really well-themed, immersive environment with a lot to see punctuated with a small handful of really good big ticket attractions.
Oh no, bummer that you had a head cold come on, but at least you had several good days before it set in. Cheer championships at DHS??? I feel for ya, my DD11 just finished her cheer season at nationals in Portland and I was privately very happy that she has decided to take a break from it and do volleyball instead. WAY too much glitter and eye makeup and attitudes.
LOL, love the Donny Darko quote. Sad truth is that some of the moms really are that twisted in their devotion to the sport. My girls like the movie Bring it On, whose sole redeeming quality is the quote by the dubious routine instructor who states cheerleaders are dancers who have gone ********. My apologies to any cheer moms or cheerleader reading the thread, but hey, ya gotta admit it is a crazy industry.
Man, what a bummer that the cold got worse instead of better. But you got some good days with hardly any crowds and saw/went on a LOT of attractions! Maybe one day Ill try the solo thing after the kids are grown if DW doesnt want to go it sounds like a great way to just get out there and do what you want and not feel obligated to anyone.
Great TR man have a good one!
