Hello!

I am planning a solo trip to DLP end of September for a few days. Either September 30 - October 2 or a week later, October 7th to 10th kind of thing. I am probably going to stay at a VRBO about a mile (3 kms) away.

1) I know there is a train from Paris right to DLP, can I store my carry on somewhere once I get there?

2) Is there a taxi service in the area to get me to/from the parks and my accommodation? I could walk there, but doubt I will have the energy to walk back.

3) Is three days (plus potentially an evening) enough for a first visit? I am a WDW veteran (and going to DL in Cali in December for the first time too, but not at all familiar with DLP).

I might be coming from Versailles or Geneva depending on how my itinerary goes... and then leaving for the airport on my last day.

TIA for any advice/guidance

Jaye

1. There is a baggage service both at Disneyland Park and the studios to store luggage against a fee.
2. You can try Uber. A mile is 1.6km by the way. If you want to save some money by staying off site, I would suggest looking into the partner hotels. There is a free shuttle to the hotels. There is also a bus back to the airports from the partner hotels, this is not free.
3. It's a weekend, but schools are in session in Europe. It can get a little crowded, but shouldn't be too bad. For a solo traveler you should have plenty of time. Just enjoy the park as you go along. You can't make use of the EMH, but even without that, you should be fine. If you are really worried about doing it all and crowds are bad, maybe budget in some money to pay for fastpasses.
I would personally go a week later, because this is the first weekend of Halloween. The start of a new season can bring in extra crowds from AP holders.

Thank you! Yes of course only 1.6km  (duh me) so walking distance - yay! I'll end up getting there on the 29th now and leaving early on the 5th to get the airport. So I do have a few more days (with maybe one less for Versailles day). I'll take a look at other planning posts to figure out detailed plans.

We are planning our first trip to DLP over Labor day (first week September), so I am following this for tips as well. Starting to look into hotels and other planning necessary. DLP is one of the last parks on my Disney bucket list. After that all I will have is Shanghai Disneyland!

Also joining in -- our dates are middle of September. Am I right in that I can save some money by booking via the French site, or the UK site, even if I'm in the US?

Yes, in European law you cannot prevent someone in country x to make use of offer y. So switch the country in the top right corner, and see which offers there are.

But keep in mind, due to covid offers have been limited the last two years.
