Anyone take pictures with the characters as a solo adult traveler?
I feel like as an adult (without children) it's kind of odd to have your picture with a character...
and then adding to the fact that you're all alone.
I'm wondering if I'm setting myself up for "failure" here...
When I went on my last Disney trip in 2008, I was 19, with my family, taking pictures and having them sign my autograph book. Of course, I was laughed and made fun of for that and asked "Will you ever grow up?" And yet I would probably do the same again, 8 years later and now going to the parks solo. This is how I view it: No family is there to make fun of you, no one knows your story, and the chances of you seeing 99.9% of the people around you ever again is similar to the chances of you winning the lottery. Go give those characters a hug and take a picture! No fear!
