I'm going in 5 days (yay!) as a solo traveler and I know I'm going to take a million pictures I'm not going to be in any of them unless they are that lovely shot at the end of my arm. I'd like a few pics with me in them. I don't need tons so I'm debating whether or not to splurge in memory maker. I'm sure I could ask a few people to take a picture of me but I hate intruding on others. The cost is what's holding me back. Have any other solos used it and found it to be a good value? I'll be in the park for three days plus the Halloween party for reference's sake.

If you just want a few pictures, you can purchase them individually from the PhotoPass website at $15 a piece. I would buy Memory Maker for a solo trip, but I would make the effort to get a lot of pictures taken (and remember, it includes ride pictures and videos).

The photo pass photogs will take pics with your camera or phone. I always go solo and have only done memory maker one time when they offered a single day option for the MVMCP.

I've been doing Memory Maker on my solo trips and will probably spring for it again next year even though I've really debated because of the cost. I love meeting characters - although I will add, the CM handlers with the characters have always been great about taking pics with my phone or camera while the Photopass Photog is taking pics with his/her camera. If I was lucky enough to go to MNSSHP, I would want to do tons of character pics.

I've done some of the "landmark"/"park icon" Photopass/Memory Maker pics, but I've never given much thought to having pics of myself in just various locations.
