Solo MNSSHP

I will be down there for a conference and am visiting Disney for a few days after. I will be by myself but am thinking about experiencing MNSSHP. I usually only go to Disney during spring or summer so it might be a good time to give it a try. What do you think about going by yourself? Would it be fun? I probably would wait until I get there to buy tickets to see how the weather is too.

I've moved this thread to the Disney for Adults and Solo Travelers board.

I've gone to MNSSHP solo and had the greatest time. If you're going to be there during a party night, I think you should absolutely go to it.

I'm going in October... I'm still up in the air, but thinking of 10/13 solo...

I'd like to hear some more opinions too!!

I've not gone to MNSSHP solo but I have done MVMCP and the P&P party solo and I had a great time.
The parade at MNSSHP is fantastic and the fireworks were great. I say go ahead and go, you will have a lot of fun. And make sure you get your candy bag and hit the candy spots, children and adults alike were in line for candy so enjoy!

Do it....It is so much fun...Trick or treating as an adult! Awesome!!

I had a great time by myself....Easier to get a spot for the parade & fireworks.

I've done MNSSHP solo three times. Love it. Short lines, fun parade, great fireworks and trick or treating if you are interested.

If it makes you feel any better... I did it last year solo... and I'm doing it again this year solo I think there's something about it that's almost MORE fun solo... I just love going wherever the magic takes me

I recently posted this in another thread regarding MNSSHP, so here it is again...

MNSSHP consists of special events such as:
A Halloween parade(Boo To You), characters are dressed up in costumes...the parade was great!
Different version of Wishes fireworks...called Hallowishes.
When you enter the Magic Kingdom, you'll be given a trick-or-treat bag and you go trick-or-treating throughout the park at 'X' marked locations, chocolates, candy is given out.
At the park entrance, it is smokey, eery atmosphere(but not so scary!) with Halloween decor...all done in a Disney Fashion of course.
The park itself has Halloween decor throughout...very cool. Take plenty pics.
You'll notice plenty of kids and also adults dressed up in costumes!
There is a show in front of the castle, but unfortunatly, I missed it.
And of course the park is open for extra magic hours which is at least midnight.

Thanks for the input! I think I'm going to go. I'll only have 2 days to do the parks. I think I'll go to DHS and do Toy Story when it opens and spend some time there, then i'll have the rest of the day at MK with the MNSSHP open until midnight. I'll have the next day to do EPCOT and if I missed anything at DHS or MK. Since I'm not huge on ToT, Space Mountain, Mission Space I should be able to see everything!! I'm getting excited!
