Solo getaway at end of Nov. Help please

Well I did it. I booked a short solo getaway for the end of Nov. Hoping some of you wonderful Disers can help me with some tips and advice for that time of year solo. MVMCP? Evening processional dining? Please, any help at all!

yes MVMCP is well worth it.

the Candlelight Procession you can do without the dining package - that say it takes patience and time. if you are short on either definitely do the package.

the christmas around the world is fun too.

the christmas lights at Studios is worth going too also

Thanks spiceycat. I haven't gone yet. I won't have much time but I do have patience. Are you saying I need to wait a long time to see the Candlelight Processional?

Hooray for you! I agree with Spiceycat about not needing the dinner package for the candlelight processional. As a solo, you should be able to scoot in there pretty easily.

I've done this very time of year as a solo and the lines were so short that I never needed a fastpass.

However, after doing MVMCP once, I don't think that I will do it again. It wasn't worth the cost for me as a solo. The lines for rides seemed to be longer that evening AND the shows were only so-so for me. The fireworks were terrific, but those alone weren't worth the cost of admission for me. Being in WDW for the holiday decorations is very festive and I don't think going to the party added to the festivities for me.

And DO go to the Osborne Family Lights in MGM! It is often crowed right at the opening time (7, I think), but later in the night, it is less crowded and definite a sight to see!
