Would greatly appreciate any advice on websites etc to research my first solo trip, to help plan my disney experience .
Or any general first timer advice, would be great to get to know like minded people....I'm based in the uk. Thanks

This forum is great for finding things out.

But will also depend on what you want to do, Just visit Disney. See other places as well.

In the UK you can book a lot further ahead than other countries can. I have booked mine for October 2015.

There is also Allears.net that has a ton of things on there as well, about the parks, hotels, dining plans etc. Along with places to eat.

Take a look at the resort page as that will give you an idea on the hotels.
If you don't want to stay on site then there are plenty of other hotels about as well.

If you have an idea of what you want to do and stay then people on here who know a lot more about the place will be able to help you out.

Thanks for the advice...will get stuck into some more research, I'm hoping around sept 2015. Bet you can't wait :-) need to learn some if the abbreviations on here though
 
I use allears.net a lot. I like using the menus to plan my ADRs.
