Solo At DISNEYLAND February 7-13

Hey...good afternoon everyone! To all the west coasters and those who might be traveling to CA, just wondering if anyone will be around for meets in the park, cocktails...whatever! I'll be in Ahaheim from February 7-13. Love my solo trips, but making new friends is always cool too. I will be (shamelessly...ha ha!) bumping this thread up over the next couple of months! However I thought that it's never too early to try to meet some friends before the trip. Thanks for reading!

I was thinking of going to DL Feb 13-17th. My first solo trip. I haven't been to DL since I was 7, but have been to DW 2009 & 2011 (with a friend). Do you get lonely? How is it eating alone? I am a bit shy and am worried about not having a good time alone. Do people strike up conversations with you or do you usually start the conversation? Thanks

Hi. You should definitely do it! I definitely do not get lonely, but meeting new people is always fun too. Eating alone isn't a big deal. Just think of all the people that travel on business...they have to eat alone if they're by themselves. I've met people both ways...by starting a conversation or by them talking to me. Really though, it's all about your personality. If you're confident and outgoing, solo trips can be a lot of fun. However if you're uncomfortable around new people, etc...then it might not be for you.
