Solo and questioning choices...

I never use them because I consider them too expensive, but I wouldn't be afraid to use them solo. Let someone at home have your itinerary and the name of the service you've booked, though.

By the way CarolynNC, I'm also proud of myself and I just wanted to let you know that not one single family/friend has voiced to me what you have and I just wanted to thank you again!

You are quite welcome. I made my first solo trip last August and it was one of the most enjoyable trips I've taken. I usually need to cater to my son & his friend or my sister or whoever else decides to tag along. I'm planning another solo trip for this May and can't wait.

I know your world cause i suffer from anxiety attacks. I'm trying to put a solo trip together 4/1-4/9. I need my Disney fix where there is no emotional pain. Also I want to and need to prove I can do it. I use to be a very independent person until this happened. I made the trip with the dh in oct and did great but something happened in dec that caused me to go backwards. So i figured with this trip I will work hard and be a victor and not a victim. So if you have any suggestions on how to get my brain to be good bring them on!!!

Just wanted to offer you encouragement also. I know you can do it and will have a wonderful trip.

A simple and effective technique for those moments when you feel the stress levels rising is square breathing. You may already be familiar with it but if not this website gives a clear explanation.

I'll be watching for posts when ya'll return from your successful trips. I know you're going to have a great time.
