I don’t know about OP but just before the pandemic I was in Paris solo. It was for work but I managed to get out toDLP for a few hours the day my flight arrived anyway. I have been to Paris before but this was the first time on my own. I was pleasantly surprised that I felt comfortable visiting some of the tourist sights, shopping and taking the metro at night (after work). There are definitely some neighbourhoods I wouldn’t say that about but overall it was great. Plenty of people still out and about and some places look beautiful at night.
