I waited too late to buy the Mickey Halloween Party tickets for 10/26. I can't believe this! My 3 girls have been working on their costumes for months!

Is there anything I can do???

I'm sick over this...

Unfortunately if it's sold out, it's sold out.:( That party sold out last week. I'm so sorry. I feel for your girls.

Can you stretch your trip and go to Monday's MHP? Tickets are still available for 10/29.

If you are staying on site check with the concierge...they have tickets. Otherwise check at the ticket booth the day of the event. The same thing happened to us and we were told these two options were our best bets. Our DD was too tired though so we wound up not trying. Good luck and be careful with resellers. I looked on the Orange County Craigslist and someone posted that they got scammed by a guy selling fake hard tickets even!

How old are your girls? Are they young enough to be allowed to wear them in the park anyway?

Are tickets available at any retail stores? Does anyone know?

We were just going for 2 days and the one night staying across the street.

Can anyone confirm if tickets are available the day of the party in these past weeks???

My girls would have to miss school (College and High School) if we changed the date. I'm not sure they can...

I can't face them :scared:

Try the ticket booths the morning of...when they open to see if they have any for sale the day of. Also, like PP mentioned, if you are staying onsite, sheck the hotel concierge.
Good luck!

Any child that looks about under 10 can wear costumes in the park during non Halloween events. I'm sure they would be excited to do that!! Lots of kids do it so they will feel like they are at the party!

OP stated her girls are in high school and college.

this was my party date too and fortunately, we didn't tell our kids about the party ( it was supposed to be a surprise ). it sold out last Wednesday. I was totally bummed but now I know better for next year.

We are going to try for the 31st. Go after school on Wednesday, stay the night and have the girls miss school on Thursday. DD needs to check with teacher tomorrow, so I hope the 31st doesn't sell out by then!

Thanks everyone!

JL

I was there this past weekend and saw adults in costume (non-party days) which confused me since i thought Adults were not supposed to wear costumes:confused3

As for day of tickets available at the ticket booths that was a N.O. if it was sold out that was it no more ticket sales at the booths. I think the only possibilty is for DL Hotel guests.

Adults are only allowed to wear costumes to the party, however party guests are allowed entry at 4 pm (I think) so if you saw them before the party but after 4 they are allowed.

The Halloween Party tickets are covered by the same terms of use as the regular tickets. They are non-refundable, non-transferable, and not for resale.

I think that's wrong. If someone can't use them, especially a special event, they should be able to help someone out. Not trying to break the rules, I just think that's wrong...

Tickets are non-transferable. But transfering a ticket involves giving it (or selling it) to someone else after its initial use.

A party ticket that has not been used can indeed be legally sold.

I think the mods should weigh in on this one.

It may be legal in the state of CA (not in FL if you are an unauthorized ticket seller), but it goes against the terms of use printed on all Disney tickets. Why not give the ticket as a gift if you can't use it? There are no terms against that.

If a person really wants to help someone out, why not give the ticket away as a gift?

This is discussed on the WDW board all the time. It is generally accepted as common knowledge that selling an unused ticket is not transferring a ticket. That would be selling a ticket after first use.
