Sold Out this weekend

If anyone was planning a last minute trip this weekend - forget about it. I called CRO this afternoon and they are practically sold out this weekend. Only had a few openings at OKW, SS and BWV.

Maybe everyone wants to watch the Super Bowl at WDW!

Since the Super Bowl is in Jacksonville, I would imagine many are combining a Super Trip with a Disney vacation.

I'm going tomorrow. I hope it is a lot to do with the big dance team competition. Because a lot ofthe girls and their families will be at the competition for quite a few hours and not in the park. I've been before at this time and it was great - a little leary this time!

It is also Mardi Gras here in the south - lots of kids have Mon, Tues, Wed off so many are heading to WDW for an extra long weekend! I know quite a few people going to WDW this weekend to escape Mardi Gras

When does Presidents day weekend fall? That is usually one of the busiest weeks of the year in Disney and it falls in Feb.

I think there is also a big gymnastics competition in the Orlando area this weekend. My friends level 7 and up left Thursday.

That's what I would do. Send DH to game while DD and I hit WDW.

i know lots of families from up north combining dad going to the superbowl w/mom & kids staying at wdw... i heard it was tough to rent a car in the orlando area this weekend (i guess dads are driving to the game?)... good luck to those of you that are going to be there... ENJOY!
