I was so excited to go to Australia that I didn’t notice there was a Panama cruise in December I could take. Now it only has concierge available which is too costly for us. I still want to do Australia but I have read they are going back next year and I am hoping got more exciting itineraries. Is there any chance a cabin might come available? And if so, when might that be?

I stalked a 2013 Med cruise for a few months. It hadn't been completely sold out but there was exceedingly little availability. As it got closer to the PIF date, lots more started opening up - around about 6 months before IIRC. I think people get cold feet when they know they have to make the final payment, they might have realized that they hadn't saved up enough or looked at the flight prices and balked. New itineraries also get booked up quickly but you only have to put a deposit down and I think a lot of people just put a deposit down to make sure they have that option and then start to cancel as their plans actually begin to firm up. Keep looking.

What size party are you looking for? I just went and checked availability because when I looked a couple of weeks ago there was quite a bit of availability. As of right now, there are all categories available for four people. Good luck.

I'd watch for PIF date, you can keep an eye out now but usually PIF date a few will open up

I was just thinking the same. I’m booked on this cruise and unless you’re looking for an accessible room there is tons of availability.
