Sold 200 pts VWL for $80 and passed ROFR in a week

We own two resorts. 250 BLT and 200 VWL. We aren't going to use all those points every year. So we were looking at either selling or renting the VWL points. I wrote a thread about 6 months ago asking people's opinions on selling/renting and got some good feedback. We decided to sell just so we could get the money now rather than a little at a time over several years.

We had the contract for $85 at Timeshare Store throughout the summer (we posted in late June). In late September we cut the price to $80 and it sold in a week. It passed ROFR in a week. I imagine Disney isn't going to ROFR VWL points considering they are going to be trying to sell the new VWL resort.

I just purchased a very similar VWL contract -- 170 points at $65/point and it passed ROFR. I was shocked... but it definitely seems like a good time to be buying VWL.

We got no offers when it was listed at $85, but the Timeshare Store had like 4 VWL contracts all at $85. So I cut the price to $80 and it sold immediately.
