My SIL is staying at SOG. Is there early morning bus servous from SOG to the Contemporary so she can get to Chef Mickey's on time with her kids for 7 AM? We planned it so early so that we could eat and then monorail over to the MK for opening. I'm staying at the Contemporary, so it'll be a snap for me. I know she can call a taxi, but I'm hoping there's bus service. Any help appreciated!

Not directly to the CR but she can take a bus to the TTC and hop on the monorail to get to CR OR take the short walk to the poly and then the monorail to the CR.

Enjoy!

I suggest(if her kids are old enough) her walking to the Poly and getting the monorail or a bus from there. It's less than half a mile from SOG to Poly.
Last year, we walked every morning to the Poly to catch our daily transportation for whatever park we needed. We found that better than relying on the shuttles from SOG

Yep, this is the best, fastest way.

I agree that this is the best way. The SOG also has employees driving golf carts who are more than happy to drive you to the end of the property. Just ask at the desk. You just have to be lucky to catch the golf cart coming back from the Poly though. We had the golf cart drive us a couple of times. Saves quite a bit of time. Keep in mind though that they might not always be available, so be sure to ask before you count on it.

If time gets tight after your breakfast and you still want to be at MK for opening, I suggest you consider walking to MK from the CR. The monorail from CR will stop at TTC, Poly, and GF before getting you to the MK. Depending on the number of passengers getting on/off at each station, this could take twice as long as walking directly from the CR.

I never thought of this, and I'm grateful you brought it to my attention. I would go crazy if I realized this for myself while I was on the monorail!
