We're staying one night at the SoG/CR, and getting 2 day Stars and Stripes passes. The SoG ticket office (in the CR) opens at 8AM, but it's an EE day at MK and I'd like to be at the gates by 7:30. What do we do?

We're staying off site the night before. Can we get our passes a day early even if we're not staying on site?

BTW, the Stars and Stripes passes are the length of stay passes.

Must you get the Stars and Stripes passes at SoG? Are you sure this isn't some way you could get from the ticket office at the MK? -- or maybe at the Disney Store before you leave. The Disney Store probably wouldn't have them normally, but maybe they can order them. Call CRO and ask them.

Hayley, as far as I know the SoG ticket office is the only place to get the S&S passes. If anyone knows differently, please tell me!

The SoG hours are really limited. The reservations desk isn't even open on weekends. The ticket office hours are 8-5. I think they're changing until later in the evening starting in December.

I would go the day before and show them your confirmation slip, and maybe they'll let you purchase them the day before. If not, you'll have to be there right at 8am, purchase the tickets, and walk quickly over to MK.

There is no other place to purchase Stars & Stripes tickets.

FYI, if you haven't been there before, the SoG ticket office is on the third floor of the North Garden Wing. Go in the door, go up the elevator to the third floor and follow the signs.

If Attraction Tickets is what you need,
stop by the Shades of Green ticket office located in room 7346
of Disney's Contemporary Resort, North Garden Wing.
Open daily 0800 to 1700. Effective 18 December 2003, open daily 0800 to 2100.

I'm wondering if they use the same ATS system that we use at the Disney resorts.

Our system allows one to sell a length of stay pass, but not have the pass take effect until the next day. For example, if a guest arrives in at 5pm, and they're not going to a park that day, there's really no reason for them to buy a ticket for that day. We have the ability to print the tickets then, and have them activate automatically the next day.

I think that might be the case with SOG, as well. It has been a few years, but I seem to remember them telling me that if we got there late in the day they could sell us the Stars and Stripes passes but have them be in effect the next day. I would call and ask to be sure, but I think I remember doing this at SOG.
