SOG overflow question

Here is my situation. We (DB, DS 13 and DS 14 and myself) will be heading down to the world from December 23-30. Originally booked with SOG overflow with a rate of 133.00 night for CBR (tax included). I thought this was a good rate and was a happy girl. Now, after reading about people with AP's and as we will probably be going again to the world in a year, I have considered purchasing APs. Here is the question... would I get a better rate for that time with AP's? I know this is holiday season, and have no intention of cancelling my ressies but am wondering if I would do better. Any help would be appreciated.

You don't need an Annual Pass to book an Annual Pass rate (if available).

You just need to make sure that you have a pass or a voucher for a pass upon check in.

SoG overflow rates are usually really good- and sometimes even beat the Annual Pass rate.

SOG rates are usually pretty good, but here is something to consider....

I recently booked a room at WL thru SOG overflow. Then when the WDW summer special came out, I called WDW directly and the rate was in fact cheaper. This may not always be the case.

I say hold off on buying passes for now....wait until just before your cancellation window for SOG and try to see if AP rates, or other available rates are cheaper.

dont forget, you can also buy APs, discounted and tax free through SOG or through Tickets and Tours on your local military base, if you are active duty or retired.

Last year AP rates for 11/28-12/26 came out on 8/28. ~~
