SOG guests pay for theme park parking??

Hi,

DD and I are trying to plan a trip for late fall and may be stayhing at SOG for first time. Her DH is active military.

Two question, her DH will not be able to come to Orlando. . I'm assuming DD can make the reservation in her name with her military card.

Second, do SOG guests pay for parking at the parks? We may just drive to parks a couple times.

Parking is free at the parks for SOG guests. Just show your SOG parking tag. We have stayed at SOG several times and it has never been an issue with any CM's.

I just found the FAQs section of their website. Your DD's DH (the sponsor) does not need to be there; as a sponsor's spouse, your DD just needs to show her valid dependent ID card at check-in.

Once you park at the hotel parking garage ($5 per day), there is no parking fee at the parks as long as you identify yourself as a SOG guest, present a current SOG registered guest I.D. and display the SOG car hangtag given at check-in.

I've stayed at Disney quite a bit, but never at SOG.

I didn't know there was a parking fee at SOG.

We have stayed at SOG the past two times. I just have to wonder why you would park at a park? We use the SOG shuttles.

The fee is $5.00 for parking. There should be no problem with her using her Military ID.
