SoG/Contemporary...upgrade?

I will be staying at the Contemporary because of the Shades of Green/Military discount for $89.00 per night. I am thrilled with that great rate!!!

I have a question ... can I upgrade that room? Has anyone done this? I was wondering about concierge or a suite? How much would the rate be on those rooms with the Military doscount? I will call and ask a CM but I was wondering if anyone has done this all ready? I am curious about your opinions.

I've never stayed at the CR and I would appreciate any advice on where to stay and what rooms to request. TIA!

I have to AGREE with you...the RATE is too good to pass on. I'm interested in discovering the answer to this one. We have good friends (Military) who would be interested in this resort if they could get the Tower as opposed to the Garden. Anyone? (TIA....TOO!)

The SoG rooms are all in the North Garden Wing, they don't offer an upgrade to the tower. There are a few suites in the Garden Wing, I don't know the price but you can certainly ask SoG if any are available.

There has been one poster on this board who said they got an upgrade to the Tower when they checked in (didn't request it, just got it), that was surprising with the SoG rate, don't know why it happened.
