SOG Advance Ticket Office

Is anyone else having problems with SOG Advance Ticket office? I emailed them last Tuesday to purchase our Military Salute tickets, and yesterday I received another email saying we will get called in another 3-7 days! That could potentially be close to 2 weeks to get processed.

I am very nervous as I need to have my tickets prior to Feb 7th to get FP+ (I couldn't order earlier because we were waiting for vacation approval at work.)

I have never had to wait this long, in the past it was typically 2 days to get the phone call. Are they short staffed?

Unfortunately I do not have an ITT office nearby or I would get them myself.
 
I've always found them to be pretty slow, unfortunately. But they will do the payment calls (it sounds like that's the step you are on, you sent the order form and now just waiting for payment call?) over the weekends, so it's not just M-F.

I haven't done this in over a year, but before, it was always the call would come 2-3 days after my initial email. And the FedEx package arrived within 2 days. So about 1 week, start to finish.

Tomorrow will be a week from my initial contact. Yesterday, I got the second email from them saying 3-7 more days. Making it a potential 14 day process. It normally wouldn't be a big deal, but knowing my 60 day window is Feb 7th, my nerves are setting in. Although I just learned they send ticket info via email now, so I won't have to wait for FedEx to receive hard tickets to enter numbers into MDE. That eases my mind ... a tad. lol

Patience is not my virtue. :blush:

ETA: I prefaced what tickets I wanted in the email, but I have not received a form to even get to the payment call. If anyone has a downloaded blank form they could PM me I'd be grateful. Then I would send that in waiting for payment call.

Are you staying at SOG? I have an order form, but they have separate forms for whether or not you are staying at SOG. And they only email the images if you are staying at SOG, otherwise you have to wait for the FedEx (and pay $10).

No, we are at Yacht Club. UGH, now I am stressing again.
 
You could try Camp Pendleton, they're super helpful, and I found them a bit more responsive than SOG (we used Pendleton when we did a SanDiego/LA trip - they sell Florida tickets too, and might have them on-hand).

When we ordered Christmas party tickets in the fall it took nearly 3 weeks for them to get back to us. I was also freaking out as it was getting super close to when we needed them. They do ship out very quickly once the order is processed. I will from now on only order from them at least a month and a half to two months before I actually need tickets (for FP etc).

Camp Pendelton doesn't have tickets on hand and could take 2 weeks. :(
I did use them the first year of FP+ before SOG started to book via email/phone.

3 weeks!? OMG It used to be easy peasy!! 😩

I am usually ahead of the game, but we had trouble with getting work vacation approved this year. UGH!! My Type A is not liking this. lol
 
We ordered tickets in December, I emailed the order form 12/11, and they called back for payment 12/15 and I got the scans same day.

If you really want to jump through hoops to try to get this done faster, you could make a SOG reservation, I can send you the order form, and once they've sent you the scans, cancel the reservation? But then they'll hold your physical tickets at SOG...not sure what happens then.

Wow! You got yours super fast. Our order that took so long was in November for a time reference. I figured they were super busy with the upcoming Christmas holiday sales. We were not staying at SOG. The order for regular tickets in October we made took about two weeks. We were not staying at SOG for that order either.

I wonder if they prioritize on-site guest orders.
 
If anyone has the order form or a link to it I can fill it out and email them, I'll take it to try and speed up the process. I am afraid I will wait another week from me immediately filling it out for them, to call me back for payment.
 
@ISUamanda and @Mzpalmtree, does this look like the form you recently filled out? I found it online, it is a little blurry but I think it would get the job done if it is current.
