Software for creating slideshows

I want to learn how to do slideshows. I downloaded a program, but I don't like the music and you can't add your own. Do ya'll know of any thing on the web that is free (or cheap) that is easy for a not so advanced computer 'junkie' to be able to use. BTW, I downloaded PhotoShow Express and I love it excpet the music is horrible. TIA

I would like something that possibly has a free trial period, I want to make sure I can use it before I buy.

Go to Google and download Picasa2. It rocks. Slicker than snot. You can add your own music (in MP3 format). Oh, and it's free...
