My team won again today, but I wasn't there because I'm sick ]:
But now my team is 4-0!!

Well, I'm a little too old for softball now (not really, but I don't have time to get in on an adult league). I played during my teen years and for awhile after that on some church teams.

My 8 year old daughter is playing though, and this is her second year at coach pitch. Tonight, her team came back and won 22-8. Wow! And she hit her second in-the-park home run. It was a beautiful hit, straight down the third base line all the way out to left field. Yes, I'm proud. She has secured her spot on the All-star team.

We really didn't intend to run the score up like that, but about 8 of those runs happened in the last inning. We couldn't tell the girls to get up there and strike out on purpose. Besides, the way we fielded in the first 2 innings and the way they batted the first 2 innings, there was a good chance they could have come back on us if we had not scored that much.

that stinks, I have no idea why anyone would want to play soccer instead of softball

totally agree! they did end up getting a league 2gethor 2nite is our second practice and games start next week but im going to be in WDW so i wont get to play they have been practicing me all over but esp first base so maybe that were I will get to play

I decided to try out softball for PE in our school for this term. it's good, but i can never hit the ball. I caught it once though, i was well proud

this is a vent lol
does anybody else hate their coach with a passion? b.c i hate mine more then words can explain. hes such a jerk and enjoys watching us fail or something. for the past like 2 days hes made me cry. legit... CRY. i hate him so much. when he sees me crying b.c he yelled at me.. he laughs. LAUGHS! how mean is that?? i can't stand him. and next year me and my whole school team think were just not going to play school ball anymore. i play travel so its not like im giving up softball.. im just giving up playing for him.
i hope his wedding(which is in 2 weeks) is terrible and i hope his soon-to-be-wife breaks up with him. i could say so much more but im gunna keep it clean lol.

today was our last game, so sad that the season is over already


but we won 13-12 and I scored the winning run

so we finished the season at 5-6, not to bad and we won our last 4 games

Long time since the season was over but I got some exciting news


Last night was my schools ssports awards dinner and I won MVP for JV softball

yesterday was our awards night too. i got my varsity letter and stuff and then today we had our team softball party and we got "the book" which has stats and records and all of our newsday blurbs and pictures and a paragraph about each of us. my paragraph was sweet and so funny at the same time. we had an unlucky season and alot of that bad luck went to me and it showed with what he wrote in my paragraph lol :]
