I have been told that Universal are likely to have a 'soft opening' of Revenge of the Mummy from 29th March.

We fly out only a couple of days after that - anyone know what a soft opening actually means? Are we likely to be able to get on it? Will there be special tickets?

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks

Julie

Soft opening means that it is not advertised as open, it is not guaranteed to be open and it is rarely open for the entire day. You might be lucky and find it is open as you pass by the attraction, but I wouldn't wait outside the attraction in case you wasted a lot of time for a ride which might not open that day.

Rob

Thanks Rob.

We have a 5-day pass so may get chance to ride it.

Julie,

I'm keeping my fingers crossed it will be opening whilst we are there as well. It will be great to give it a public 'test run' ;)

Richard. :)

Do check with Guest Services when you visit the park - if it is only opening for a few hours on the day you are there, you will want to find out from them when!!

Good luck - please tell us about it if you are lucky enough to ride!

Employee previews happened last night or the night before. From what i have read there is still quite alot to get done.

I have heard through some of my 'contacts' that soft openings are due to start next week. Its just a case of checking everyday when you are there.
