soft opening for Cinderellabration

if cinderella surprise celebration ends 2/25 and soft opening for Cinderellabration is 3/17 does that mean that it will continue to show until it officially starts on 5/5? what is a soft opening?

Normally the soft openings do go on until the official opening date, UNLESS there are hitches. the whole point of the soft opening is to say that the show is ready and completed and now we're making sure it runs smoothly. If not, they'll pull it again and have until the official date to get it completed.

So if you dont see it, then likely they are working more on it, if you do, then they must be ready to go!

I'm hoping to catch a soft opening of at least 1 of the new attractions on our April trip. Not counting on it-- but hoping!!

With soft openings does that mean that it will run only on the 17 or maybe also the 18th, 19th? Anyone with experience on announced soft openings and how long they run?

Soft openings basically mean that the show is complete and ready to go, AS FAR AS THEY KNOW.

So they will start it. Without any hiccups the show will go on daily. Basically "soft opening" means that they are ready to roll.

It gives them the opportunity to stop the show for days to fix it if there is a problem, whereas if they officially opened they'd have issues to explain if they had to stop for errors. So unless therre's a problem, when the soft opening occurs, you can count on the show going on daily.
