Soft drinks on the ddp...

Are free refills of soda allowed at all restaurants on the ddp? How do you know which ones do or don't allow refills?

I hate asking at the restaurant...I don't want to come off as a tightwad!

Table service include free refills on tea, soda, coffee.

Counter service does not do refills on drinks.

When we were there a couple weeks ago the waitress at Tony's told me that free refills were not included on my Diet Coke. I told her that was fine and I would pay for it. In the end she did not bring a bill, I asked her for it and reminded her about the soda and she told me not to worry about it. We had less than the best service so I think she felt bad but in my experience free refills are not included at all TS and I think it is beneficial to ask or be prepared to pay just in case.

If a cash guest gets free refills, DDP get free refills. Usually on the menu it will say free refills on soft drinks, tea, coffee. I can't think of any TS location that I've eaten at that didn't give free refills on soda. Even when we ate at Tony's last year we got free refills - probably the best part of the meal, but that's another story.
