We just arrived today and opened the sofa bed in our studio to see how it works. (Planning a trip in the spring with our young granddaughter and she'll be using it)
Is it typical that the sofa beds are already made up with linens? Or should I be a little grossed out right now? Lol! We've never opened one in the past 23 yrs that we have been members. Thanks in advance for answering my perhaps silly question.

We've never had to put sheets on the sofa bed. Sometimes I had to call for an extra blanket.

In my experience, yes. When I travel with friends, we've never had to put sheets on the sofabed. We typically strip it before we leave so they know it was used (usually close it to get it out of the way).

They've all been made up when we've used them. Do check them right after check in though. We've had two incidences where the linens weren't changed (hair and stains at the VGF and what looked like blood at SSR). For SSR the offending stain had leaked through to the bed and that part was changed out but not until the next day so DDs had to sleep on blow up mattresses they brought.

thanks Bobbie and Debbie. It's been many years since I've had to open a sofa bed while traveling!

Thank you! We'll remember to check the sheets after checking in for our spring visit. I was just surprised to see the sofa bed already made up.

i should correct myself in my original post. Only members for 3 yrs (wishful thinking on the 23 yrs lol)

Enjoy your visits with your Grand Daughter!
Thanks Bobbi! We are treating our children, spouses and our soon to be 3 yr old granddaughter in March for my big 60th ( and husband's 65th) birthdays. She is all about The Mouse! And we cannot wait to bring her to visit!

How wonderful!

We had a 4 generation trip, with my mom, DH & myself, our 2 sons, one was with his wife and our 3 grandchildren...they were 1,2,3 at the time. my sister was there with her honey! That was an especially happy time. Our unmarried son had a birthday during that trip! You'll have birthdays to remember!

Seldom have we found the sheets not already on the sleeper sofa or sleeper chair. Maybe the blankets weren't on, but the sheets were. Sometimes you have to know where the find the blankets and pillows. The beds at BWV and BCV have a pocket in the bed where they are stored. OKW, SSR, BLT, they might be stored on the closet shelf. Sometimes they are in the coffee table.

We will strip the beds before we leave and leave the sleeper sofa open.

this is what I found on our OCT 2014 BWV studio trip. I opened as soon as I got in the room and WALAA!!!! I called and they rushed HK right there and CM tried to make the sofa but I already took it apart and to her I will do it. CM spoke no English and I had to hand signal her out the door. I believe it's not her fault it's the previous renter for closing it that way. These sofas are hard to open sometimes . Please everyone if you use the sofa leave it open when you leave and take the sheets off so they don't just close it.
