This is quite a specific question but i hope someone can help!
Does anyone have experience of sleeping on the sofa bed in the family suites at Cabana Bay?We are a family of 6,2 adults,4 children age 12-17. We have booked a family suite for September but i am now quite concerned that the sofabed will be too uncomfortable for 2 adults or even 2 older children. We are happy to be in close proximity to eachother as long as we can all get a good nights sleep and don't become too grumpy and intolerant!!;)

The alternative would be to book another room but obviously this would be a waste if the sofabed is a comfortable size for 2 as we will only use the room for sleeping.Any experience would be great.TIA x

It's a sofa bed. If it's anything like the 3 deluxe as an adult no way I would sleep on one. For my son he does not mind as if now. Maybe as he gets older.

Ask Macraven how the sofa sleepers are. Lol

We carry an queen-sized Aerobed when we travel. The last time we had a sofa bed in a hotel room it was broken and wasn't noticed until bedtime (or we may have asked for a new room). Luckily we had the aerobed that my son could sleep on. Sometimes sofabeds are fine and sometimes they are terrible in hotels. Would you be able to carry a blowup mattress with you on your vacation?

Its sounds as though universal have improved the sofabeds at CB compared to the ones at the deluxe hotels then ;).Thanks for sharing your experience.

Here this week at CB. The regular beds are very comfortable. The sofa is comfortable. The sofa bed is not. the sofa bed is extremely hard. , perhaps a little softer than the floor. Probably ok for kids who can sleep anywhere, but most will not like it at all.

I think sofa at cabana bay will be inconvenient for your children and having a mattress with you will also not b easy way because you will have to look after your belongings will also be a hectic task. You can book another room for your children. In my view this option will be the best for you.

Do the regular rooms at deluxe resorts have a sofa bed? I didn't think so, but checking. We are planning on bringing an air mattress too

No the deluxe two queen rooms have a sofa bed. The Club rooms not seem to come as 'deluxe'. I tried to book one but couldn't find one in the Club category.
