Sodas: Cans, 2 Liter Bottles, or Disney Mug?

I do not believe they will let you wheel a cooler onboard as carryon. People usually bring their collapsible coolers and bring them onboard in their luggage. I think DCL has stopped letting wheeled coolers (hardsided) onboard. I do not know if DCL would allow the new soft-sided collapsibles with wheels onboard. I think if they don't see it they don't care, but if they do see it they may have to say something. I hope this makes some sense!

Well, I sure hope so, as I have recently purchased one of those soft-sided ones for just that purpose. Actually, the insulated part of the cooler is removable. It looks like a small wheeled carry-on, and can be used for this purpose if the insert is removed. I can understand their problem with those huge Coleman-type wheeled coolers - some of those are extremely big so if many people were hauling them around in those narrow halls I can see the issue.

We had planned to stop at a store the morning of the cruise and get different varieties of soda not available on the ship. My 16 yo son up here in the North likes Mr. Pibb which he can only get in the South - go figure!

How have recent cruisers fared with the small soft-sided wheeled coolers?

I'm w/you! I just purchased the soft sided wheeled cooler just to fill up w/cans and take onboard. It does look like a carry on and I thought I had read somewhere that these were okay. I sure hope so!
