Soda?

Yes, no limit on soda/water. Any drinks you bring on are supposed to be carried on vs in the checked luggage. Rooms aren't available until around 2:30, so you'll be bringing your carry on with you everywhere until then.

Yes ideally cans and not glass bottles and ideally in a full 12 pack not opened - these little things make it easier for security which in turn makes it easier for you.

FYI:
You have to bring the soda in your carry on luggage. Cabins usually aren’t available until 2:00 and you have to carry it with you until then.
You may want to use a roller bag.

I have also seen people strap it
To the outside of a roller bag they carry on the ship. Definitely had to be carried on the ship

Yes! There are free soda stations on Deck 10 but maybe not your favorite.
LOL. Cruises have always been a time to try NEW things for us. I can't imagine hauling soda around when soda is free on the ship.

No, I understand that. But the hassle of lugging soda to the ship would make me a fan of what was available. Cruises are a change to try different things.
The issue is I like cola drinks, but I have to have caffeine free. And diet just doesn't do it for me. Caffeine free original Coke is not available onboard.

Yeah, I'm type 2 Diabetic so any regular soda is supposed to be off limits, as is any sugar free soft drink because the artificial sweeteners mess with your stomach bacteria balance. So I drink a lot of water, sparkling water, iced tea and coffee. I did cheat yesterday when I ate out and had a Mountain Dew......it was heaven.

To each his own. I cruise to relax and be carefree, not necessarily to try new things. I already know what I want, and it isn't the soda they serve onboard. Rolling my own self-selected soda onboard in a suitcase is easy.

Yes, to all . . .
I securely duct tape, my one (or more) 12-packs of DietDP together, and carry them in their own sturdy bag as I board. I also tape an impossible-to-miss "Name, Cabin#, etc" card on the packs.

When I get on the ship, I take the appropriate aft/forward/mid elevator to the correct deck, and get the attention of one of the hard-working, cabin attendants. In some cases, I am "allowed" to slip under the blue tape, stay out of their way, and drop my soda pack outside my room. In other cases, they take it there personally for me . . . and yes, gratuities are offered.

Then I get lunch with family, plan excursions, tour the ship, etc. The Coke products are free, but DietDP is priceless!
