soda mugs at wdw resorts deal? is

All of the resorts have the refillable mugs & most are free refills (I think OKW & BW you have a refill charge). You can get coffee, tea , soda, ice-tea & I think Hi-C.

Refills are free at BWV, as well. You can get all of the above-mentioned drinks, plus lemonade and hot chocolate. If you're there for a week or more, it's well worth it, IMHO. (I've never drank so much lemonade in my life! LOL) There's a refillable mugs chart on either this website or wdwig.com that lists all of the resorts and the cost of each resort's mug and subsequent refills.

Are you sure they are free at the food court at the contemporary resort thought had to pay some for coffee even after buying mugs ??

Yes they are still free at the Contemporary. We were just there in May. My DH re-filled coffee all day! As long as you refill at the Food and Fun Center where you buy the mugs. My two DS also filled up on slushies-one of the highlightes of thier trip!

What if you switch resorts mid trip? We're staying at the contemp for 4 nights, then allstar for 2. Can we use our contemp mug at the allstar?

You can only use the mugs at the resort they were purchased except for "sister" resorts....like you can use an All-Star Movies mug at ASMu and ASSp too,....and a POR mug at POFQ and vice versa.

You can access the refillable mugs chart at http://wdwig.com/mugs.htm. The chart tells you each resort mug's size, style and color, cost and where to get the refills. BTW, I was at BWV from Dec. 28-Jan. 4 this past holiday and they were doing hot chocolate refills at the bakery window. Maybe each resort is different on what drinks are offered for refills, or maybe the hot chocolate is a "seasonal drink". Anybody know?
