Can someone tell me if DCL still has soda mugs? If so, what is the cost for the 4 day Wonder. We are going in April and it has been 3 years since we last cruised.

Up on deck 9 there is a soda station and it is free. They have cups there also.

Soda is now free at the deck 9 drink station and restaurants. You still have to pay if you go to the bar or order from room service. I am not sure if they have a deal for that.

I just read in the passporter updates that you can now buy the mugs that were used as "soda mugs" in the past only now they are sold as "soveneir(sp?) mugs". The price is $3 each. It is my understanding that the disposible cups at the drink station are quite small. I guess the idea is to buy the mug and use it on the trip.

Does anyone know if the mug has a strap or belt clip? Or is it made like a traditional mug and you actually have to carry it everywhere? Could you bring you own insulated cup/mug onboard to use?

Yes you can bring your own mugs. We brough our own insulated cup/mug , I would use them in the morning to get a large cup of coffee for my DW and myself.

They actually had two different sizes at the drink station. I did buy one of the souvenier mugs for $3. I use it almost every day here at home. It reminds me of our cruise. They did have a neck strap thing that you could buy for it. I think the strap was something like $2.

I was planning on taking our mugs to use that we'd purchased from our other Disney Hotels (Grand Floridian & Beach Club). Just becuz I love the large base.
