Soda in luggage?

This is a silly question... but you don't really try to use a grill in WDW, do you?

Lets hear it for the Dr. Pepper addits.
I can't live without it.
I have taken it on many plane trips with no problems.
Cans, plastic bottles.
Went with me to Paris & through customs no problems.
Have never had a exploded can or bottle.
I have 1 suitcase I use just for this.
I 1st put the largest heavy duty trash bag in than put the soda inside the bag tie it up ready to go.
I take a 2 week vacation every year.
So that's to long to go without.
Can everyone say WITHDRAW.
FYI they don't have Dr. Pepper in the parks.
You must go outside of WDW to find it.

I've grilled 3 times while at WDW.....BW has great outdoor grills....

I've never taken Dr. Pepper, but I took the mini cans of Pepsi in my luggage to WDW one time as a surprise treat for my daughter. She was delighted when we got back to our room one night and we were able to pour ourselves a little Pepsi at the end of a wonderful day. Simple little treat, but a good one! I had absolutely no trouble transporting them in my luggage.

Two summers ago, I traveled to Las Vegas in July for a Convention. I went by myself and took my infant son (2.5 months old at the time) with me. At the time, I was nursing and addicted to Caffiene Free Coke (regular, not diet), and I knew I would probably NEVER find that within walking distance of my hotel, let alone have free time to go searching for it.

I put six 20oz bottles in a large zip loc bag in my suitcase and it arrived with no problem. I would probably not take cans, but the 20 oz. bottles or 2 litres should be ok. I would seal them in a plastic bag, just in case, and pack soft items around them.

Can I put soda in my checked luggage? I am addicted to Diet Dr. Pepper I do not think I can make it 7 days without this. Can you put this in your checked bags on the airline??

Hess gas stations are on resort property and so they only have limited amount of Coke products..... I know in ohio Dr pepper is a pepsi product, but that varies, I noticed in diff. parts of the country..... I would buy it and carry on or have some delivered.
