soda - free or not?

Can someone please clear this up for me - is soda free all the time or not? What about tea?

Soda is free in the dining rooms with your meals and on deck 9 at the soda station. You do have to pay if you order a soda in one of the clubs.

Ditto the above post....and you do have to pay for soda from room service also.

Tea is also free at meal times and at the beverage station on deck 9.

that is not what has been reported in previous threads, is this a change from other cruises this summer, where soda was available at drink station on deck 9 all the time?

Yeah, they changed it to free soda earilier this summer. But only in the dining rooms or the drink station. If you order it from a club or because you are sitting by the adult pool and its easier to get it from the bar, you will pay for it.

You have to pay for the soda from room service. Comes in a can.
